Saving Jobs

There are multiple ways to save jobs to ApplyrFlow. Choose the method that works best for you.

The fastest way to save jobs is with our Chrome extension.

How It Works

  1. Browse to any supported job board
  2. Open the ApplyrFlow extension
  3. Click Save Job
  4. The job details are automatically extracted and saved

Pro Tip

Pin the extension to your toolbar for one-click access. Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome and pin ApplyrFlow.

What Gets Saved

The extension automatically captures:

  • Job title
  • Company name
  • Location
  • Job description
  • Salary (if listed)
  • Job URL
  • Date posted

Method 2: Manual Entry

You can also add jobs manually from the dashboard.

Steps

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click Add Job or press N
  3. Fill in the job details:
    • Job title (required)
    • Company name (required)
    • Job URL (optional but recommended)
    • Location
    • Salary range
    • Notes
  4. Click Save

When to Use Manual Entry

  • Jobs from unsupported job boards
  • Jobs shared via email or referral
  • Company career pages not supported by extension
  • Networking opportunities

Method 3: Paste Job URL

Quickly add a job by pasting its URL.

  1. Copy the job listing URL
  2. Click Add Job on your dashboard
  3. Paste the URL
  4. ApplyrFlow attempts to extract job details automatically
  5. Review and edit if needed
  6. Click Save

After Saving a Job

Once a job is saved, you can:

Get AI Analysis

Click Analyze Match to see:

  • Your match score
  • Missing keywords
  • Recommendations

Add Notes

Add private notes about the job:

  • Why you're interested
  • Referral contacts
  • Application deadlines

Set Reminders

Set a reminder to:

  • Apply by a certain date
  • Follow up on applications
  • Prepare for interviews

Managing Saved Jobs

Finding Jobs

Use search and filters to find specific jobs:

  • Search: Type company name or job title
  • Filter by status: Saved, Applied, Interview, Offer
  • Sort: By date, match score, or company

Editing Jobs

  1. Click on any job card
  2. Click the Edit button
  3. Update any details
  4. Save changes

Deleting Jobs

  1. Click on the job card
  2. Click Delete (trash icon)
  3. Confirm deletion
Deletion is Permanent

Deleted jobs cannot be recovered. Consider moving jobs to a "Not Interested" status instead if you might want to reference them later.


Tips for Effective Job Saving

Quality Over Quantity

Focus on saving jobs you're genuinely interested in. A smaller list of well-matched jobs is better than hundreds of random listings.

Save Early, Apply Fast

Jobs get the most applications in the first 48 hours. Save jobs as soon as you see them and apply quickly to high-match opportunities.

Use Notes

Add notes when you save a job about why it caught your eye. This helps when you review later.


Troubleshooting

Extension not detecting job?

  1. Make sure you're on the job details page (not search results)
  2. Refresh the page and try again
  3. Try the manual entry method
  4. Report the issue

Job details incorrect?

You can edit any job after saving:

  1. Click on the job card
  2. Click Edit
  3. Correct the information
  4. Save
