Installing the Browser Extension

The ApplyrFlow browser extension lets you save jobs with one click from any supported job board.

Chrome Installation​

From Chrome Web Store​

  1. Visit the ApplyrFlow Chrome Extension page
  2. Click Add to Chrome
  3. Click Add Extension in the popup
  4. The ApplyrFlow icon appears in your toolbar

Pin the Extension​

For easy access, pin the extension:

  1. Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome toolbar
  2. Find ApplyrFlow in the list
  3. Click the pin icon next to it
  4. The ApplyrFlow icon is now always visible

Signing In​

After installation, sign in to connect with your ApplyrFlow account:

  1. Click the ApplyrFlow icon in your toolbar
  2. Click Sign In
  3. Enter your email and password, or use Google
  4. You're connected!
Same Account

Use the same login you use on the ApplyrFlow website. Your jobs sync automatically.

Edge Installation​

The Chrome extension works on Edge:

  1. Go to Chrome Web Store from Edge
  2. Click Allow extensions from other stores (if prompted)
  3. Install as normal

After Installation​

Quick Test​

Try it out:

  1. Go to linkedin.com/jobs
  2. Open any job listing
  3. Click the ApplyrFlow icon
  4. You should see job details detected

What You'll See​

The extension panel shows:

  • Detected job title and company
  • Save Job button
  • Quick Match button (to see your match score)
  • Link to your dashboard

System Requirements​

  • Chrome 88 or later
  • Active internet connection
  • ApplyrFlow account (free or paid)

Privacy & Permissions​

What the Extension Accesses​

The extension needs permission to:

  • Read job listing pages to extract details
  • Access your ApplyrFlow account
  • Display notifications

What We DON'T Access​

  • Your browsing history
  • Other websites you visit
  • Personal files on your computer
  • Your passwords or sensitive data

Troubleshooting Installation​

Extension Not Appearing​

  1. Refresh Chrome
  2. Check it's not disabled:
    • Go to chrome://extensions
    • Ensure ApplyrFlow is enabled (toggle on)

"Add to Chrome" Not Working​

  1. Check you're signed into Chrome
  2. Try incognito mode
  3. Disable conflicting extensions temporarily
  4. Check firewall/proxy settings

Sign-in Issues​

  1. Make sure you have an ApplyrFlow account
  2. Try signing in on the website first
  3. Clear extension cache and retry
  4. Check for popup blockers

Updating the Extension​

Chrome updates extensions automatically. To force an update:

  1. Go to chrome://extensions
  2. Enable Developer mode (top right)
  3. Click Update button

Uninstalling​

If you need to remove the extension:

  1. Right-click the ApplyrFlow icon
  2. Click Remove from Chrome
  3. Confirm removal

Your ApplyrFlow account and saved jobs are not affected.
