Quick Start Guide

This guide will help you get the most out of ApplyrFlow in just a few minutes.

Overview​

By the end of this guide, you'll have:

  • Your resume uploaded and analyzed
  • The browser extension installed
  • Your first job saved and tracked

Let's go!

Step 1: Upload Your Resume​

Your resume is the foundation of ApplyrFlow's AI features.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Resumes
  2. Click Upload Resume
  3. Select your PDF or DOCX file
  4. Wait for the AI to extract and analyze your information
What happens next?

ApplyrFlow's AI reads your resume to understand your skills, experience, and qualifications. This powers the job matching feature.

Step 2: Install the Browser Extension​

The extension is the fastest way to save jobs.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Click the extension banner (or visit the Chrome Web Store)
  2. Click Add to Chrome
  3. Pin the extension for easy access:
    • Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome
    • Click the pin next to ApplyrFlow

Step 3: Save Your First Job​

Now let's save a job!

  1. Go to any supported job board:

    • LinkedIn Jobs
    • Indeed
    • Glassdoor
    • Greenhouse job pages

  2. Find a job you're interested in

  3. Click the ApplyrFlow extension icon in your toolbar

  4. Click Save Job

That's it! The job is now in your dashboard.

Step 4: View Your Job Match​

After saving a job:

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Find the job in your Saved column
  3. Click on the job card to see:
    • Match score - How well your resume fits the job
    • Missing keywords - Skills to highlight or add
    • Recommendations - Tips to improve your application

Step 5: Move Jobs Through Your Pipeline​

ApplyrFlow uses a Kanban-style pipeline:

AppliedJobs you've submitted applications for
InterviewJobs where you have interviews scheduled
OfferJobs where you've received offers

To move a job:

  • Drag and drop the job card to a new column, or
  • Click the job and use the status dropdown
