Profile Settings

Customize your ApplyrFlow experience by updating your profile and account settings.

Accessing Settings

  1. Click your profile icon in the bottom left
  2. Select Settings

Or navigate to DashboardSettings from the sidebar.


Profile Information

Basic Details

Update your personal information:

  • Name - How you appear in the app
  • Email - Your login email (can be changed)
  • Profile photo - Optional avatar

Changing Your Email

  1. Go to SettingsAccount
  2. Click Change Email
  3. Enter your new email
  4. Verify the new email via code
  5. Your email is updated
Login Updates

When you change your email, use the new email to log in.


Job Preferences

Set your job search preferences:

Target Roles

  • Job titles you're looking for
  • Industries you prefer
  • Company sizes you're interested in

Location Preferences

  • Preferred locations (cities, regions)
  • Remote preference (remote, hybrid, on-site)
  • Willing to relocate (yes/no)

Salary Expectations

  • Minimum salary you'd consider
  • Target range you're aiming for
  • Currency preference

These preferences may be used for future features like job recommendations.


Notification Settings

Control how ApplyrFlow communicates with you:

Email Notifications

Managing Notifications

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications
  2. Toggle each notification type on/off
  3. Changes save automatically

Privacy Settings

Data Visibility

Control what data is used:

  • Resume analysis - Allow AI to analyze your resume
  • Usage analytics - Help improve ApplyrFlow (anonymous)

Data Export

Download all your data:

  1. Go to SettingsPrivacy
  2. Click Export My Data
  3. Receive a ZIP file with:
    • All saved jobs
    • Your resumes
    • Cover letters
    • Account information

Account Deletion

To delete your account:

  1. Go to SettingsAccount
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone
  3. Click Delete Account
  4. Confirm deletion
Deletion is Permanent

Account deletion removes all your data and cannot be undone.


Appearance

Theme

Choose your preferred theme:

  • Light - Bright, clean interface
  • Dark - Easier on the eyes
  • System - Match your device settings

Language

Currently English only. More languages coming soon.


Connected Accounts

Google Connection

If you signed up with Google:

  • Your account is linked automatically
  • Sign in with Google anytime
  • Revoke access in your Google account settings

Disconnecting

To remove a connected account:

  1. Go to SettingsConnected Accounts
  2. Click Disconnect next to the account
  3. Confirm disconnection

Make sure you have a password set before disconnecting your only sign-in method.


Security

Password

If using email login:

  • Change password - Update your password anytime
  • Forgot password - Reset via email link

Sessions

View and manage active sessions:

  • See devices where you're logged in
  • Sign out of specific devices
  • Sign out of all devices

Two-Factor Authentication

Coming soon - extra security for your account.

How do I change my password?

  1. Go to SettingsSecurity
  2. Click Change Password
  3. Enter current password
  4. Enter and confirm new password
  5. Click Update

Can I merge two accounts?

Currently, account merging isn't available. Contact support for assistance with duplicate accounts.

How do I update my profile photo?

  1. Go to SettingsProfile
  2. Click your current photo (or placeholder)
  3. Upload a new image
  4. Crop if needed
  5. Save
