Quick Match lets you see how well you fit a job without leaving the job board page.

What Is Quick Match?​

Quick Match is an instant job analysis feature in the extension:

  • Get your match score in seconds
  • See key insights immediately
  • Decide whether to save and apply
  • No need to switch to your dashboard

How to Use Quick Match​

Step-by-Step​

  1. Browse to any job listing
  2. Click the ApplyrFlow extension icon
  3. Click "Quick Match" button
  4. Wait 3-5 seconds for analysis
  5. Review your match score and insights

When to Use Quick Match​

Browsing Many Jobs​

When searching through dozens of listings:

  1. Quick Match the most interesting ones
  2. Save the high-scoring jobs
  3. Skip low-match jobs or save for later

Making Quick Decisions​

Quick Match helps you decide:

  • "Should I save this job?"
  • "Is this worth my time to apply?"
  • "Does this match my experience?"

Pre-Screening​

Before investing time in a full application:

  1. Quick Match to see baseline fit
  2. If score is good, save and do full analysis
  3. If score is low, consider skipping

Tips for Quick Match​

Match Multiple Jobs

When job hunting, open several job pages in tabs, then Quick Match each one to find the best opportunities quickly.

Don't Over-Filter

A 50% match doesn't mean you won't get the job. Use Quick Match as a guide, not a rigid filter.

Check Resume Selection

Quick Match uses your default resume. If targeting different roles, update your default resume first.

Changing Your Resume​

Quick Match uses your default resume. To use a different one:

  1. Go to ApplyrFlow dashboard
  2. Navigate to Resumes
  3. Set a different resume as default
  4. Quick Match will now use that resume

Usage and Limits​

Counting Toward Quota​

Quick Match counts toward your monthly analysis limit:

Checking Usage​

View remaining analyses:

  1. Click extension icon
  2. Look at the bottom of the panel
  3. Shows "X analyses remaining"

Quick Match Not Working?​

Common Issues​

"Resume not found"

  • Upload a resume to your dashboard first
  • Set a default resume

"Analysis failed"

  • Check your internet connection
  • Try refreshing the page
  • The job site may have changed format

Slow response

  • Normal analysis time is 3-5 seconds
  • If longer, check internet connection
  • Try again later if servers are busy

Privacy Note​

When using Quick Match:

  • Job descriptions are sent to ApplyrFlow servers
  • Analysis happens securely
  • No data is shared with third parties
  • Results are saved if you save the job
