Saving Jobs with the Extension

The browser extension is the fastest way to save jobs to your ApplyrFlow dashboard.

Basic Usage

Step-by-Step

  1. Navigate to a job listing on any supported site
  2. Click the ApplyrFlow icon in your toolbar
  3. Review the detected job details
  4. Click "Save Job"
  5. Done! The job is now in your dashboard

What Gets Captured

The extension automatically extracts:

  • Job title
  • Company name
  • Location
  • Salary (if listed)
  • Full job description
  • Original URL
  • Date posted

After Saving

When you save a job:

  1. Confirmation - You'll see "Job Saved!" message
  2. Syncs instantly - Appears in your dashboard immediately
  3. Status: Saved - Added to your "Saved" pipeline column
  4. Ready for analysis - You can run AI analysis anytime

Tips for Saving Jobs

Save from Job Detail Pages

For best results, open the full job listing page, not just search results. This ensures all details are captured.

Check Before Saving

Review the detected details in the extension panel. Edit anything that looks incorrect before saving.

Batch Save Efficiently

When browsing multiple jobs, open interesting ones in new tabs, then save them all.


Editing Before Saving

If the detected information isn't quite right:

  1. Click the Edit icon in the extension panel
  2. Modify any field (title, company, salary, etc.)
  3. Click Save Job

Common edits:

  • Correcting salary ranges
  • Fixing company name format
  • Adding missing location

Saving from Different Sites

LinkedIn

  1. Go to any LinkedIn job page
  2. Make sure you're on the job detail page (not search)
  3. Click extension → Save Job

Indeed

  1. Click on a job to open the side panel or full page
  2. For best results, click "Full details" or job title
  3. Click extension → Save Job

Glassdoor

  1. Navigate to a job listing page
  2. Click extension → Save Job
  3. Works on both job listings and company job pages

Company Career Pages

  1. Open the specific job listing
  2. Click extension → See if job is detected
  3. If not, use manual save or report the site

Manual Saving

If the extension can't detect a job:

Use Quick Add

  1. Click extension
  2. Click Add Manually
  3. Fill in:
    • Job title (required)
    • Company name (required)
    • Other details (optional)
  4. Click Save

Copy-Paste Method

  1. Copy the job URL
  2. Go to ApplyrFlow dashboard
  3. Click Add Job
  4. Paste the URL
  5. ApplyrFlow attempts to extract details

Duplicate Detection

When you try to save a job you've already saved:

  1. You'll see "Already Saved" message
  2. Option to view the existing job
  3. No duplicates created

This helps keep your pipeline clean.

Troubleshooting

"No Job Detected"

  • Make sure you're on a job detail page
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Check if the site is supported
  • Try the manual save option

Job Details Wrong

  • Use the edit feature before saving
  • Report the issue so we can improve detection
